Before starting an operation, the safety data sheet, product classification, quantity, type of packaging, incompatibilities and available capacity are reviewed to confirm that it can be managed safely and in compliance with regulations.

Picking includes locating, selecting, verifying and preparing the products that make up an order. Nordlogway offers box picking and can integrate it with packing, labelling, documentation and shipping services, according to the requirements of each operation.

What is cross-docking and what are its advantages?

Cross-docking is an operation in which goods are received, classified or consolidated and then shipped out again with minimal time spent in the warehouse. It reduces storage time, handling and costs associated with stock, while speeding up distribution.
